Updates on the MMGO 20% Balance
The organizer is pleased to announce that the project completion work of the Music Must Go On 2020, which was officially closed on 30th June, 2021, is now in full swing and completed before the deadline. This will naturally lead to an earlier release of the funding. For all projects of this nature, the processing time for us to receive the balance funding will take a few months. The organizer will spare no time to release the balance 20% as soon as we receive it. We will announce the arrangement once we have a fixed day.
Circular on MMGO payment cheques
This concern those unpresented cheques for first 80% subsidy. We are aware that certain project cheques we sent out were not presented to the banks by the musicians. We attempted in the past months to contact the recipients of those cheques and most of them confirmed the cheques were well received. Yet there are those we are still not able to contact. Please be informed that the MMGO 2020 project shall be closed by the end of June, 2021. Except the processing of the balance 20% payment, we will not be able to offer cheque replacement but when it is strictly necessary, all bank charges shall be borne by the applicant. In any case, the issued cheques shall expire in 6 months from the date of issue, and we shall cease to entertain any request for cheque replacement at the expiration of 1 year.
